IYLMUN

The International Youth Leaders Model United Nations is an international student-led organization. As a Model UN, we welcome you all to be a part of the IYLMUN family. MUNs are intended to explore modern social issues and welcome the diversity of cultures throughout the world. We hope to enable these future diplomats to expand their horizons and learn new things. We have the same aim, to bring people from all around the world and present their diplomatic, debating, and public speaking skills.

A MUN is not all about certificates that may help you with your applications, but it is a lifelong experience, where you make friends and gain insight into the issues going on in the world. In this course, you learn the importance of courtesy as a quality a person ought to possess towards everyone.

Through this MUN, we aim to fulfill our duties towards the youth by shaping their minds toward a more equitable future. In a conference where your experience does not define you, but your ability does, we encourage those new to MUNs to participate and have a great time.

To provide our delegates with a comfortable experience, we have divided our committees into three categories: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. People will be matched with committee delegates based on their MUN experience to create a comfortable environment.

Youth must be able to voice their opinions and ideas in productive ways. We ask the youth to speak about the social issues and ways to resolve them. A question of how we shape a better future is in our hands; the journey begins now.
